This thing is a blank canvas just waiting for someone to their thing. Super clean super straight from California, 1974 Ford Econoline SuperVan 1 Ton Cargo Van. Very solid and nice, 302 V8, C4 Automatic, Dana rear, 1970s 8 lug aluminum slot mags with new very cool Bias Ply tires. Also has Hooker headers and dual exhaust. Manual brakes and manual steering. Fires right up everytime. Was a California Highway service truck then brought to Indiana. The bottom around this van is very nice, all spot welds very visible and nice. The original color was a lime yellow 1974 Ford color that was used for the highway department and when the guy that worked out of this van for many years the state gave him the van for his retirement and he painted it white. I really would love to keep the van and my plan was to make it into a 1970s Yamahauler style van but I just dont have the space or time. It runs and drives fine, not sure Id drive it across the country. It just needs some lovin and some creativity. When in use as california service truck it was set up to run on propane. All that equipment has been removed but there is a few screw holes in the floor from mounting tanks or tools. I coudnt get to the back doors because the van is in the garage at work. Like I said, the van is not near perfect but I think its a nice solid start to a project and will need some TLC. On Nov-17-10 at 13:17:57 PST, seller added the following information: I checked out the doors for any soft spots and they all seem pretty solid, a little crust here and there but I think it could be addressed easily. I added a couple photos of the back door bottoms. They look good too, of course the weather stripping is looking pretty beat. *** I would consider a trade for a vintage motorcycle, 60s, 70s. Thanks
