I have for a sale a nice 97 Grand Am. I bought the car with a bad motor. I bought a used motor out of a sunfire with132000 miles on it and replaced it. The car starts and runs very good, with no engine noise. It has the 2.4L 4 cyl. These motors aren't the best thing GM put in vehicles, but if you maintence on a regular basis they will last over 220000 miles. I replaced spark plugs and flushed and replaced all fluids. Transmission works good no problems what so ever. The tires are almost new. The brake pads, calipers, and rotors are brand new, less the 200 miles on them. The body and paint is in very good shape. No cosmetic damage, just a minor scratch here and there. There is rust on roof, and by fuel door, none any where else. Windshield is in good condition, must have been replaced not to long ago. All lights work. Power windows and locks all work good. Cruise and wipers work good. Interior is really clean for being 14 years old. Believed to be NON-Smoker car. Car needs a muffler but is not terribly loud. AC works but needs to be recharged due to the replacement of the motor. This is a good, cheap, reliable car for some one. My number is 507-662-6799.
