1999 GMC Jimmy SLE 4X4 This vehicle was my personal vehicle until I had to go the mini-van route. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS-IS! It runs and drives, but there are some problems! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND THAT THIS VEHICLE IS NOT PERFECT AND THERE IS NO WARRANTY! I will do my best to let you know of everything I know that is wrong with it! Description: This GMC Jimmy is silver with dark gray cloth interior. Body and interior and are in pretty good shape, with some dings and dents out the outside. It was owned by a smoker at some point in it's life, there are some burn marks in the driver's side door and seat. They aren't super noticable. It has newer tires and brakes. A/C is NOT working, needs a compressor. 4X4 is NOT working, although a mechanic checked the trouble code and it was just an electronic switch. I have never used the 4X4, so never bothered to fix it. It does have pretty loud "road noise", but I'm not sure if it's because of the 4X4 or the new tires we put on. The passenger side power seat works, but I believe a rod is disconnected somewhere underneath, as it doesn't move the way it should. Driver's side power seat works fine. As typical in these cars, for some reason, both driver and passenger side seat recline handles are broken off (you have to use a wrench to recline the seat). Some of the radio knobs are missing, but it still functions. It has a CD player. It has heated side mirrors which works well to de-fog them. Cruise control works great. Although it has been "fixed", somewhere there is a very slow leak in the cooling system, and every now and then you will have to add water to it. One half of the rear window defrost wire has been pulled off. The alignment is off. The motor and transmission work fine for the most part, but every once in a while, it seems like the transmission will slip or act up. I'm not 100% sure if it was the transmission acting up, or the 4X4. The vehicle has a clear title, which I have in hand. Please make sure you understand before bidding that this vehicle does have some issues. I've done my best to list everything I know is wrong.
