Vehicle Detail

1966 Ford F100 Twin I Beam Pick Up Up for auction is a 1966 Ford F100 in good shape (look @ the pics). It has a 351 Cleveland V8 w/ a 3 speed on the floor manual transmission. This is a great running truck that has been primered gray. I have done a lot of work to it including the dual exhaust w/ cherry's (see pic). She starts up and drives well. Frame is solid, shackles and leaf springs are in tact. Minimal underbody rust for the year. This truck was owned most of it's life in Virginia, if that tells you why it looks so good...and the fact that I have done a lot to keep it in the condition you see. All the original glass is in tact with no cracks. Windows roll up and down, and the doors open, close and latch well. The gas tank is behind the bench seat and holds approximately 19'ish gallons. Bed is in good shape, but some areas up towards the front of the cab (in the bed) have rusted thru. All easy fixes, I just have not had the time to weld it back. Chrome reverse rims all around with raised white lettering tires. The truck does NOT leak any fluids. The title is an Ohio, Clear & Original title. It is NOT a salvaged or duplicate title. All in all, this is a good running truck that has served me faithfully. You will not be disappointed. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. If you are interested in seeing it, please e-mail me your # and I will call you to set up a time to view it. Payment: $500 dollars down payment required within 48hrs close of auction. Remaining balance due when you pick up the truck in cash. Shipping: I will sell to anywhere in the contiguous 48 states, but all arrangements for pick up only... will be your responsibility! Meaning, I will NOT drive to meet you so that you can pick it up. I am selling it as is, where it is. Thank you, good luck and happy bidding. On Nov-11-10 at 16:17:00 PST, seller added the following information:Just to be clear, I have been questioned about the type of 351 in my Ford. So, let me set the record straight about this motor. This is to my knowledge, a 351 "C" - Cleveland. I have been told by a very tenured Ford Mechanic that this is indeed a Cleveland, and this why: Identification of the 351W & 351C is easy. The 'W' (Windsor) has 5 bolt valve covers and the radiator upper hose connects to the intake manifold. The 'C' (Cleveland) has 8 bolt valve covers and the upper radiator hose does not connect to the intake manifold. I can post more pictures, but my 351 has 8 bolts on the valve covers and the upper radiator hose does NOT connect to the intake mainfold. If there are any additional questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you!On Nov-14-10 at 17:30:06 PST, seller added the following information: I have uploaded a couple more pics of the motor as well as some tags w/ alpha-numeric digits on them. I hope this helps anyone looking @ engine and needing additional pics. I have purchased a few cars on ebay and I want to make sure that you if you are considering my truck...that you have as much info as possible. I want to be perfectly honest in my all my dealings, and strive to provide an accurate representation of what I am selling. With that said, I'm not 100% sure if this motor is a "Modified-Cleveland" or an actual "Cleveland". I do however; want to post as many pics as possible to show you exactly what you are getting, if you are the winning bidder. I had a couple questions regarding the gauges in the dash and if everything is working as it should. To the best of my knowledge: the oil, speedometer/odometer and fuel gauges are in good working condition. However, the thermostat gauge does not work as well as some of the light bulbs in the instrument cluster/dash. Also, I had a question regarding the type of transmission in the truck and if it is the original 3 speed. Honestly, I do not know. What I do know is that it is a 3-speed "H" pattern manual transmission that shifts fine and has no "slippage". If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you!
