Up for auction w/ NO RESERVE is my 1967 Mercury Cougar! I have owned the car for about a year and was planning on restoring it with my father who had one years ago, but time and money is priority and I need the space back inmy garage so the car must go! I purchased the car the way you see it in the pics. I did start to take the interior out as you can see in the pics and that is as far as I got. Mechanically the 289 engine runs perfect and sounds very strong! The previous owner told me the motor was completely rebuilt! The car does run and drive and can be driven, but it has been sitting for a while and I would suggest it be towed if you are not a local buyer. The car needs to be completely gone over to be road worthy again. The frame is solid. As stated, just to be clear with everyone the engine runs excellent w/ no problems but overall the car has been sitting and still is a project to complete. As you will see in the pics I will show you just what you are bidding on. I do have the rear seat bottom and back in good shape! The paint is like a maaco job, it is peelin in spots as you can see, It will need some floor work, minor trunk work, the body overall is in good shape and solid but will need work on the quarters, ect. The interior is ok but as shown in the pics will also need to be restored to make perfect. Please look at the pics carefully so you understand what you are buying! I am a 100% ebayer and am as honest as they come! The car has aftermarket wheels that look like weld wheels! In my opinion it is a great car to restore! Especially with such a great running engine!
