Vehicle Description, 1950 Mercury two Door Coupe, Done-up OLD SCHOOL Serial # 50DA47114M, This unit is a older restoration but still in very good condition, True Mileage Unknown. Frame is a Parallel Rail and X frame Original. Engine, 255 cu. in. Flathead V8, Isky Cam & Lifters, bored 60 thousands oversize and new Pistons, Turned crankshaft with new main bearings and rod bearings, Edelbrock finned heads with chrome acorn nuts, engine has been relieved, Holly four barrel carburetor, Mallory distributor with electronic ignition. Custom made stainless steel headers, duel stainless exhaust and tail pipes with Cherry Bomb mufflers. All work was professionally done at time of restoration. Borg Warner five speed transmission with new clutch & pressure plate and throw out bearing fluid drive with new slave cylinder. Original Diff, rear wheel drive, Front Suspension, Original A-arms with coil springs & king pins, with two inch lowering blocks installed. Rear Suspension, Original Suspension with Leaf springs and three inch lowering blocks installed, Steering. Power steering box and tilt wheel steering column are from a Ford Ranger Truck. OEM Brakes with newer drums, wheel cylinders and shoes, all brake lines, hoses and master cylinder replaced or rebuilt. Duel exhaust, custom made stainless steel headers, exhaust and tail pipes through the frame, with Cherry Bomb mufflers. Body, All steel body with fiberglass lower quarter panels and front and rear splash pans. Body Modifications Louvered hood with rounded corners, custom made and chromed grill, 1953 Buick stainless steel side trim, Frenched headlights, electronic tail lights, molded chrome Laker pipes, custom fit and molded fiberglass fender skirts, custom made aluminum firewall, inner fender covers and front of radiator all custom fit and highly polished, power, trunk, antenna and windows, dummy chrome spot lights and stainless peep mirrors. All professionally and meticulously done. Paint, Glassodur paint base clear two tone Orchid and Violet done by Other Brothers Body and paint shop. Bright work, All bright work, chrome and stainless are in very good condition, all chrome had been replated and all stainless buffed all work done about 15 years ago and well maintained since and showing minimal wear. Glass, All glass in very good condition and windshield and center bar have been replaced. THE INTERIOR has been completely redone two years ago in a grey tweed, seats and door panels reupholstered, new carpets and headliner fabricated and professionally done by Bill Rocco upholstery. New seat belts installed. Wiring, All wiring has been replaced with a complete kit from E-Z Wiring, and has been installed from bumper to bumper. The car has been converted to 12 volt and a alternator installed. Lighting, Seal beam headlights, signal lights, hazard, interior and electronic tail lights. Alpine AM-FM stereo with CD Player mounted in the glove box and four speakers mounted front and rear. OEM Rims front and rear with 1957 Caddy hubcaps “originals not reproductions” on front wheels only. Tires, Four New American Classic Tires P205/75R/15 with 2 ½ inch wide white walls Installed. Spare, Used Goodyear P205/75R/15 with one inch wide white wall in the trunk. Recent upgrades, New tires, starter, battery, fuel pump, clutch & pressure plate, master cylinder installed this year. This unit is a older restoration but still in very good condition, with a little TLC this car can be brought back to show car condition.
