Up for grabs is a nice 1996 Ford Mustang Convertible LX with Cobra Wheels, New Tires, True Dual Exhaust, and a Rear Spoiler!! Great on gas and low on insurance! This car will make an excellent car for your teenager or a nice weekend car to enjoy with the top down!! The 3.8L motor starts right up, runs smooth, and gets great gas mileage! It does not leak or burn oil. The transmission shifts nicely through all the gears and the suspension is nice and tight. This car might have high mileage but it sure drives like it has low mileage. The dual exhaust sounds so much better than the normal single exhaust on other V6's! It also has a cd player with detachable faceplate. The power windows operate properly. The interior is in pretty good condition. The dash looks great and does not have any cracks or fading. This Mustang needs a little work but not much. The motor to the power top is inop. You will need to replace this if you want to easily raise and lower the top with a push of a button. I have found motors on eBay for $99 and less. It seems to be an easy repair for a shadetree mechanic. The power driver seat is jammed. You can hear the motor run when you hit the switch so I am assuming that the repair needed could be as easy as clearing the track, but I am not positive about this. You may need a new motor for the seat. I have also found these for about $45. Lastly, the air does not blow cold. Could be as simple as adding freon but it may need more. I have found A/C compressors for as low as $60. As you can see, if you or a friend is a little handy with some tools, you can fix this one up for not much $$ at all!! The dash looks great and does not have any cracks and is not fading. The seats are in pretty good condition. The carpet should be shampoo'd as the rear has some stains. The body is pretty straight and the paint looks pretty good. There are some scuffs and scratches that you can see in the pics and video. The car still looks really nice considering its age!
