rarebird64 Store For auction is one 1975 Austin Mini 1000 The car is in very good original condition For local certification it requires aprox. $400.00 in Mechanical work. That includes 1 control arm & 2 bushings,tie rod ends,& a brake adjustment. The car runs great & drives very well. shifting & clutch are smooth. Sub frames are solid but does require some underbody work inner fender repair & rocker panels ,minor rust on body but has all original metal, no fibreglass panels. 1 ding in the rear drivers quarter panel otherwise body is great but could do with a paint job. This is 15minutes from the United States Border at Niagara Falls New York. It is no big deal to trailer a car from Canada to the US especially a 1975 car which is more of a collectable. A few years ago we took an Austin Mini with us from Toronto Canada to Florida and went through customs without any problems. There was no information available to customs officials therefore no import duties or charges.
