Vehicle Detail
1970 BOSS 302 "W" code or "Drag Pack", a very rare car, that was produced 1/23/1970 at the Ford Dearborn plant. Per the Marti Report, the decoding is as follows; 0-1970 F - Dearborn 02 - Mustang Sportsroof G - 302-4V Boss 57655 - 57,655th Ford vehicle scheduled for production The original color was G-Lime Ivy Green Rhino with Corinthian Vinyl bucket seats. The car is equipped with the very rare "drag pack" which includes the 4.30 locking axle ratio and 4 speed close ratio transmission with Hurst shifter. Less than 10% of these cars have survived according to www.boss302dragpack.com. This car has been completely restored with the 1970 boss Red, tinting guide DCC71528 SC and complete black interior. The car is very complete with the Hurst shifter, rev limiter, oil cooler, rear deck spoiler and Magnum 500 wheels with BFG tires. The restoration was done by Jackie Jones Ford out of Georgia. This is a number 1 car. The car was kept in a private collection for many years and will not disappoint the enthusiast or collector.
