I am tired of wasting my time with the locals so it's listed here with No Reserve & a Low Starting Bid I dumped a lot of money in this quad for my 17 year old son & knew if I ever sold it, that I would lose money but you gotta do, what you gotta do.. I think I have around 26 hundred in everything... I know there is almost 9 hundred in just in the engine because that's how much that was on the bill when i found the rebuild papers... This no longer belongs to my boy because of the trouble he got into & what he has put this family through so were selling this plus the Mustang I bought to give him, you can see it pictured down below in the eBay pictures, it's in the background of 1 of them....... Tough love is tough love, it is what it is so he knows why they are being sold... All the work was done by Lancaster Sport Cycles so it was a Professional Job & yes it was expensive but i didn't want it to break on us... The plastic is off of a 2001 model... I think it's a pretty nice one, even though it's a 97, everything mechanical has been done to it in 2010 plus the 2001 plastic.... It has the Heavy Duty Nerf Bars on it, After Market Front Bumper, Stage 1 High Performance Rebuild Kit, Hand Guards, (they are painted yellow to match the plastic) Nice Shock Covers, High Performance Clutch, Rebuilt Swingarm / Carrier & Rear End, New Brakes on the back, etc. etc.... How's this, if I mislead you on it, the winning bidder doesn't have to buy it when you get here, we'll void the contract so now you know this is an accurate & honest description, that way we are not wasting each others time... I know it looks really nice & looks newer but it's a 1997 Honda 300ex 5 Speed with Reverse, last spring, (although it didn't need it) we had it rebuilt to a Performance Stage 1 Kit with a Wiseco Piston, Performance Clutch, & the whole nine yards... I went either heavy duty or performance on everything that I had them do to it.... It was one or the other, I didn't skimp on it... Like I said, Lancaster Sport Cycle did all the work so it's done right & you'll be able to tell it too, they put it all back together like it was to begin with, nothing is out of place on it... Every Bolt, Bracket, Screw & Brace is where they need to be, just like their supposed to be... Were the second owner of it, I bought it from my friend, even though it's a 97 & they didn't require titles for these back then, I have one for it so it could be ridden in our State Parks & it'll come with the Clean Title plus a Bill of Sale for you.... My oldest son was gonna race it but he blew his oppurtunity with it big time, it's been completely broken in & was ridden all summer so all you gotta do is nothing, just ride it... This thing sounds excellent, & is excellent in my opinion, it'll out run a stock 400ex... It's strong... The Stage 1 Kit for these 300's allows you Bottom End Torque which it definetely has & a High Top End Speed which it also has plus it allows you to run on the regular unleaded gas, you do not have to run racing fuel through it... The only thing I didn't mess with were the shocks, front bushings or exhaust but they are still in good condition... This has been well taken care of by me.... I have some extra parts that are included, i have another clutch handle & perch that goes with this, plus another reverse cable i bought for it but yes, the one on it works & it does back up... That's it, it's a really nice quad, I guarantee if you bid & win it, you will be impressed with it !!! I'm even comfortable giving you a guarantee on this so don't have any worries about winning it, you will be impressed, it's not only nice looking for the year, but it's an Excellent Running & Riding "Performance Quad"... I mean I spent a fortune on this & had it all upgraded & gone through just because of the race thing we were gonna get involved in so now, I got a performance quad with strong, strong, low end torque & a high top end speed that is in my way, I'm tired of looking at it in the garage so i am prepared for a loss on it & have listed it with no reserve & a low starting price... I want it sold & I want it gone !!!!! There are 2 things about it that you need to know, the parking brake bracket is missing on the rear caliper so you can't use the parking brake, not a big deal, who does anyways, I still have the cable there & hooked up & the Rear Brakes are Brand New but when he removed the caliper to paint it, I never bled the system, there is fluid back to the bleeder but I don't know how to bleed them... It also has a fairly New Battery in it too that I put in last spring.. It's an Extreme Magna Power Sealed, Absorbed Glass Mat Battery... Of course, it's a top of line battery just as everything else is that I had done to it, I wasn't going to stop there because like the wife say's, I was already " in for a penny, in for a pound" so I might as well finish it off the right way... The plastic has a few flaws from when it was on the other quad but still looks nice & the same with the seat... This ones ready to ride & this quad will last you for years to come without needing anything mechanical done to the engine, trans, rearend, carrier, or clutch because it's all pretty much still new plus it's been broken in right & ready to go.......
