This was my first BMW. Took delivery from local dealer Oct. 31,1998. Has cold air & the cooling system was completely refurbished not too long ago. Has had all regularly scheduled maintenance with no major damage or unusual repair. There are a few minor dings on the exterior while the interior is in excellent & smoke-free condition. I did install a BMW trunk mounted cd changer when new & most recently an Interstate battery. The car is safe & drivable. The headlamp lenses are "cloudy" but (I'm told) can be resurfaced. The dealer says the catalytic converter needs replacement. It should soon have a new set of Michelin tires, &,unlike my 328, the trunk has a spare, jack, & lug wrench. The winning bidder will pick up the car locally, as-is, pay cash, & meet me at the tax office to transfer title. On Nov-11-10 at 11:22:20 PST, seller added the following information:This car does have the full leather interior & optional sun / moon roof. Has new, Nov. 2010, Texas registration. This is the 1998 year model, but delivery date was Oct. 31, 1997 (not '98 as shown above).
