Up for auction is one of the most desireable mid 60's Mopar/Chrysler body styles built. 1964 Dodge 440 2 door hardtop We purchased this car to restore several years ago, but have too many projects to complete. It has been stored in a climate controlled building since our purchase. Reserve is less than our purchase price. GOOD STUFF: 318 cu in engine, 2 bbl, Pushbutton Torqueflite Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Manual Brakes Newer Dual Exhaust Remote working driver mirror No undercoating hiding issues, solid floors and trunk with only minimal surface rust Excellent Aluminum front grill and surrounds, nice undented front bumper with chrome showing some age All glass is very good, no scratches or delaminating stains All trim is on the car with nice undented stainless steel, chrome die cast showing some age All exterior and interior lights and turn signals work with exception of dash lights This car starts easily, runs and shifts good, and stops fine. You could probably drive it home, but the furthest we have ever driven it was about 10 miles. NOT SO GOOD POINTS: Temperature, oil pressure and fuel gauges are not working. It has oil pressure and does not overheat. Interior is really pretty decent for the age of the car. Nice padded dash, seat wear in driver area, headliner could use replacement, door panels are decent, carpet looks like it was replaced. Rust issues in driver side cowl area and driver side rear quarter panel. Patch panels for the quarter panel and replacement cowl are included with the car.
