Folks, Here is your opportunity to bid on the nicest, ALL ORIGINAL and most collectable AMC EAGLE cars! A 1983 AMC EAGLE SX/4 Hatchback! Complete and Original, Unmodified, Unmolested, A ONE owner, DOCTOR owned car! The ONE AND ORIGINAL OWNER is a well established Orthodontist from Minneapolis, retiring from practice. This is one of his secondary cars, and he chooses for me, his nephew, to sell it for him here on EBay! As a secondary car, it was kept in the Doctor’s southern Minnesota airport hangar. After flying in from Minneapolis and landing his private airplane once a week for his orthodontic appointments, the car was always waiting for him. The airport maintainace officials made sure it was started and warmed up for before use. Never did this car fail to meet transportation needs to and from his dental office. Aside from the usual use as office transportation, this car did see some highway use throughout the seasons. As a farmland owner, the Doctor used his car to check his farmlands, crops and meet with his farm associates. No Longer used as a secondary office vehicle, and returning to its hometown of Minneapolis, resides this, perhaps the best example of its vehicle kind any collector will find! Completely original with the only exception being paintwork performed to a rear fender-flare, is this factory original beauty! The rest of the body and glass is factory original. Factory options include power door locks and electric windows, original am/fm stereo, intermittent wipers, rear defrost. The ORIGINAL R-12 A/C BLOWING ICE COLD, “YUP!!…still blows ICE COLD!” The original interior is in EX condition with no fabric tears to the seats and no headliner sags. Although soft, the driver’s sun visor is still original and operational. No issues at all on the passenger side! All options function and operate fully as if new!!! The spare-donut-tire was replaced by the dealer at time of purchase with a full-sized factory rim and tire at the Doctor’s request. Maintenance was always performed, needed or not, and cost was never an issue! The transmission and transfer case were rebuilt 2,100 miles ago (invoices included) and of course perform perfectly! A new muffler and exhaust system was also installed. There is no frame or underside rust-outs on the car! You will notice normal stone chips and a couple door dings, as this is to be considered a used car. The engine runs as new, (with the low miles it should)! As typical on the AMC cars, the front driver seatbelt weakened, and was replaced with OEM new. Although the rear plastic license light assembly is cracked (seen only as the hatch is open), it functions perfectly. ---New OEM style COOPER replacement radial whitewall tires have been installed! And an included wheel alignment performed as routine for the Doctor’s vehicle. (Recent invoice included). New A/C original R/12 performance check, and all majors performed are documented. A recent tune-up includes plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. As stated earlier, this car is all original; it was driven on the streets and highways. It is unrestored and has typical road wear and may have a few stone chips to the body. Other than a wash, wax, vacuum, and basic interior detail, All is untouched. The engine compartment is left un-cleaned to hide nothing. Regardless of such, Never again will an opportunity like this arise for a collector to possess a car like this! I know the above is correct, as the owner is my Uncle, and all info can be verified! --- I, Myself am a previous mechanic and I feel perfectly comfortable driving this car from Minnesota to California, Texas, Florida, or Maine! And if it snows…. Bring it on! As you know…. These cars are unstoppable!!!! Folks, this is a one-time find for the AMC or any collector of the unique variety of cars! The broken tail-lamp plastic (does still light up); A driver's door ding and small surface rust spot near the handle/lock; And the road debris spot over the right headlamp that DID damage the plastic/chrome trim over the headlamps.
