Vehicle Detail
Hey boys and girls!~ This is Paul from Team Dart of Speed TV's Bullrun season 2 fame. Up for your consideration is one from my private collection; this very rare Barracuda. Before I acquired this car, it sat in the high desert of California for 22 years. It is an absolute, rust free, never wrecked, classic hot rod. This car is very complete, and it is 95% original. The car never even thought about having a rust hole. So, for all you East coast rust bucket-driving Mopar freaks, here is your clean little baby. This car has 108,000 original miles, and as far as I know, the motor has never been opened up. It runs very strong, quick to smoke the tires at a stab at the gas pedal. The car starts and drives great. It's an awesome ride and can beat up on your buddies and their Mustangs, Chevelles and Cameros. This Mopar is cruise night ready. I've just been doing typical maintenance to it, driving it around and rodded out the radiator. There's new wheel cylinders on it, and the tires are in great shape, these Craiger SS wheels good to run. Of course, this has the Formula 1 package with sway bar in the front and 8 3/4" rear end. It's also got a shorty exhaust system with brand new mufflers. The only thing on the motor that I know is not original is the carburetor. I have the original carburetor which shall be included with the car. In there right now is a thermo quad carburetor that was brand new, so I left it on the motor because it works perfect. The car is painted as a hot rod flat black, or if you don't like black, it's ready for any color of your choice. All it's needs is one final glaze, block, and paint. The floors are all in mint condition, the door jams and the lips have absolutely no signs of rust repair. All the chrome is undented, the bumpers are a bit faded, but everything else is very bright. It's got a new headliner carpet in it, and the interior is in great condition. It even has the original radio and a 150 MPH speedometer. The points distributor was replaced with an electronic, for more reliability. Any other questions, feel free to call. I feel like I have the reserve set at a fair price. It's a very rare car, with all the emblems in place. You can send me a message, or call me at (619) 206 2500. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The car is located in beautiful San Diego, California. On Nov-04-10 at 12:10:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a picture of the trim tag. Click on it to see an enlarged version.
