Vehicle Detail
1933 Plymouth Coupe New Fiberglass Body 283 Chevrolet Engine Borg Warner 5-Speed Transmission 8.5 Chevrolet Differential w/ 3.73:1 Posi 4-Wheel Disc Brakes My name is Steve and I am a professional welder and fabricator at W.A. Jones Trucking in Columbia City, Indiana. I built this car in my shop and I am selling it in order to complete some other projects. My car has a legitimate State of Indiana Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.) and is titled in my father's name as a 1933 Plymouth. As you can see the interior is finished in Gray Tweed and I think will compliment any color choice. It has VDO gauges and speedometer. The speedometer is mechanical and the transmission is electric so it is currently not working. The Build I purchased a complete fiberglass body including the doors, fenders, running boards and hood. They are still in their original gel coat finish and I decided to let the next owner determine the color of the car. I was always thinking something along the lines of Plum Crazy. The glass in the car is all new and fits beautifully. The Engine is a 283 Chevrolet with a new camshaft, lifters, timing chain and gears. I installed newer heads with hardened valve seats in order to run unleaded fuel. I built the boxed frame for the car and utilized a 1940 Ford Straight Axle with a transverse spring and control arms in the front. It is fully finished and all parts are in good working condition. The rear suspension utilizes a 1975 Camaro 8.5 inch 10-Bolt with a 3.73:1 posi-traction. I custom built the ladder bars and the rear has coil-over shocks and is held in place by the ladder bars and a fabricated track bar. This is a nice set-up. The Transmission is a 1991 Chevrolet Borg Warner 5-Speed Manual with a hydraulic clutch. The Plymouth has 4-Wheel Disc brakes at each end. The headlights, tail-lights and turn-signals are all brand new and in complete working order. Overall This is a neat Hot Rod that can be driven as is and customized to your personal taste as you go. My price is very reasonable and I don't believe that you could buy the parts for what I'm asking. Again, my name is Steve and if you have any questions or would like to inspect the Plymouth, I can be reached at (260) 213-087. Please call between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM weekdays or anytime this weekend. This is an auction so, please do not bid unless you have your funds in order. If you have Negative Feedback or Zero Feedback, I would appreciate you calling prior to bidding. This Vehicle does not have an existing warranty and is being sold As Is/Where Is. Thanks and Good Luck!
