Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a beautiful 1996 F-350 7.3L Diesel, 4x4, XLT. This is a great truck that can haul most anything. I don't use the truck to its full potential, and the fiancee wants me to get a smaller truck that rides nicer on longer trips, so I have to get rid of the truck. I put new tires and wheels on the truck when I bought it back in April 2008 (about 13k miles on them). Both batteries and the starter were replaced at the beginning of this year and I replaced the shocks just a few months ago. For some extra power, I added a S&B cold air intake, a Dieselsite 203* thermostat, and the Edge Power Programmer. If you jump on the throttle, it can light up the tires. For better tunes, I put in a Kenwood CD/MP3 player with remote, and added a 'hidden' AUX input so you can plug in your MP3 player or satellite radio. The truck has power windows/locks, rear sliding window, auto transmission, manual locking hubs, towing package, trailer brakes, tool box, and probably more that I can't think of right now.The truck has some stains on the seats and carpet, but nothing too bad. Headliner has zero sag and this was a non-smoker truck. The guy before me decided to cut a hole in the drivers seat (I think for a makeshift cup holder), but I added a console for my drinks and use the hole as a holder for the radio remote. The truck does like to leak a little oil from time to time, but nothing major, and the transmission shifts a little hard from 1st to 2nd gear sometimes. I believe the truck lived the first part of its life in construction, and therefore has dents/dings/scratches, but nothing major. It does, however, have rust appearing over 3 wheels. I took pictures of the spots for you to see. Those are the downsides that I can think of.Overall, this truck has been great and I think it will make its new owner very happy.Just to clarify, though, I am selling this truck as-is with no warranties expressed or implied.I am willing to help transport the truck up to 150 miles for $1.50/mile, and I am in St. Louis, MOIf you have any questions, please feel free to email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.Good luck!! and Happy Bidding!! ** I forgot to mention that a couple months ago I had the left rear wheel come off while driving (apparently I forgot to tighten the lug nuts after rotating the tires). The wheel came off and bent up the metal behind that wheel. The wheel was replaced, but nothing else was damaged. It's hard to tell, but the metal behind that wheel is still a little bent up. I bent the metal back down the best that I could, but I'm not a body man. There was no damage to how the truck runs, drives, or brakes, but I wanted to make sure I pointed this out.
