This 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was used by the Aurora Police Department as a patrol vehicle and had been acquired new by the City of Aurora. It has received regular maintenance every 3 - 4,000 miles and is currently in good running condition. The front seats are cloth but the back seats are leather.The driver's windown switch works very slowly so it will probably need replacing. The vehicle has not been in use for approximately 1 year so the battery may also need replacing soon. There is some rust and a chip on the trunk, a capped hole and marks on the roof where the lightbar was attached, and a scratch above one of the wheels. This vehicle received new brake pads in 2009. The absence of any indicated deficiencies does not mean that the item may not have deficiencies. The potential buyer is encouraged to inspect the item during regular office hours prior to bidding. Inspections can be made at the Brown-Keidel Service Center, 158 West Pioneer Trail, Aurora, Ohio 44202. Inspections must be scheduled by sending an email to chittickl@auroraoh.com. Test drives will not be permitted due to liability issues. Payment must be made with cash or cashiers check made payable to the City of Aurora. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup.
