This 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 was used by the Aurora Parks Department and had been acquired new by the City of Aurora. It has received regular maintenance, but there are some problems with it. The truck wants to stall when it is idling and the transmission may be beginning to slip. The A/C does not work either. There is rust around the wheel wells and lower body of the truck. The truck has a V8, 5.2 liter Dodge Magnum engine. It has a cassette player (no CD player), leather interior, the drivers seat has a cloth seat cover, and there is a bed liner. All of the decals will be removed prior to sale as well as the magnetic light on the roof and 2-way radio. The absence of any indicated deficiencies does not mean that the item may not have deficiencies. The potential buyer is encouraged to inspect the item during regular office hours prior to bidding. Inspections can be made at the Brown-Keidel Service Center, 158 West Pioneer Trail, Aurora, Ohio 44202. Inspections must be scheduled by sending an email to chittickl@auroraoh.com. Test drives will not be permitted due to liability issues. Payment must be made with cash or cashiers check made payable to the City of Aurora. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup.
