Classic 1974 VW Super Beetle. Very fun to drive and runs great! I drove it daily for about six weeks and still take it out at least once a week. I bought the car late last year with the plan to restore it. Now I'm moving out of state for grad school, so I need to sell it soon. I had the car shipped up from Alabama, so it hasn't suffered through New England winters. The title is clean and clear. The odometer reads 54,400. It's the perfect first car for a high school or college student. Or would be a fun restoration project. You can still get every part brand new through retailers like JC Whitney. I had quite a bit of work done to it just after I bought it: replaced starter, replaced back wheels and tires, replaced v-belt, new parking brake cable, new wiper arms and blades, wiring work, exhaust work, replaced front wheel cylinder. I was told that the brakes, clutch, transmission are in good shape and were probably replaced within the past few years. Shifts through all gears smoothly. Horn and directional switch need to be repaired, but both are easy to fix and just require a big socket wrench (which I don't have) to take off the steering wheel. The color is a dark purplish-blue. Watched 'The Big Lebowski' the other day and realized it's the same color as the Beetle in the movie. If you bid, please be serious about purchasing. I'm moving Nov. 10 and will need the car to be picked up before then.
