When a mechanic looked at it he said that it might be fixed with a head gasket repair, BUT was unsure if that would defiantly fix the problem (meaning it might require more). I am a college student and can’t afford to take that risk, so I am forced to sell the car. This would make a great project car for any car aficionado, or as a father son build. The car is black with tan leather on the inside, and has a manual tranny. The AC blows ice cold, the CD player works great, BMW emblems are brand new, there are side air bags on both sides, new widow regulators, and the car has a new serpentine belt along with water pump. The car is in relatively good shape, and the owners were never smokers, but will list items on the car that need work (besides the engine issue). Items include: - Dent and crack in rear bumper - Paint is chipping off center console - Although the AC adapter works the housing around it is cracked, but is hidden from view. - Clip for passenger side vanity mirror came off - Small amount of rust on front grill - Fabric is peeling back near rear window I am listing the car as is, and all sales are final (no refunds). There will be a mandatory non-refundable deposit (no exceptions) of $200 dollars within 48 hours of end of auction, and the car must be paid in full within 7 days of purchase, or before pick up.
