Vehicle Detail
1997 BMW 540 Automatic, runs great. 202000 miles. This is my daily driver for 5 years until 3 months ago when I bought a 3 series. I miss the power, ride quality, and size. Purchased the car in 2005, from my neighbor who owns a body shop. The car had been t-boned and he replaced the entire drivers side, and painted it. Clean title As for the maintenance, oil changes every 5,000-6,000 with synthetic, as my other neighbor owns a large foreign car service center.(oil changed last weekend). He also replaced all of the necessary 540 parts except the transmission fluid, which is next, as I have the Bavauto kit, but not fluid (transmission shifts fine). There are plenty of things to fix in the car, but i'm not willing to spend the money. Driver's side rear window needs regulator Hood latch cable Glove compartment opens only by my magic hand One fog light out Dash board indicators for O2 sensors, airbag sensor, abs sensor, coolant level slight shimmy with the summer tires. When I jump in the car and drive it, it hauls ass, and drives great. Drove to work last week, 110 miles round trip, ran great. I hate to sell it, but my 15 year old says she wants a truck(her money talking), and 4 cars don't fit in the driveway. Also have set of unmounted winter tires for this car, driven 1 winter, about 8,000 miles, $200. My feedback score is 100%, including 2 cars, so if you have any questions, or if you have low or no feedback, email me!On Nov-01-10 at 18:11:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Thule rack is not for sale, but I wanted to add the pictures. Kumho tires are newer, and have more than 50% life.
