1969 BMW R-Series

You are reviewing a 1969 BMW R50. The bike runs well and was completely restored in 2005 by a man in Ohio. The only part of the bike that was not restored was the main engine block though the cylinder covers and clutch were replaced. To my knowledge I am the third owner of the bike and the miles on the odometer are actual. The bike has an Ohio title. I have never registered the bike in California where I live as it has been stored. I have not run the bike for over two years and two weeks ago changed the fluids and added fuel and it started on the third kick. I will add video later this week. Please note the following: 1. Rims are new and not original equipment 2. Mufflers are new and are not original equipment 3. Brand new tires 4. Paint in excellent condition 5. All electrical wiring redone 6. All blinkers, horns, dimmer switches, etc. work 7. White pinstriping on rear fender is not perfect 8. Saddle bags are rigid and were made for the bike. The blinkers and brake lights work and I have a key for the bags I have a box with the original seat, cylinder covers, all original nuts and bots, etc. I also have a repair manuals. This is a special bike and should be ridden often which I am unable to do. Please let me know of questions.
