Rare Honda CB 450 police bike which had been setting since 1979. I got it a year ago and I had plans of restoring it but time and money has been a problem . If someone wants a rare project bike,heres the chance. The engine that was on the bike was stuck from setting over the years and I cracked the right cylinder taking it apart. I had a 1975 cb 500t that I was going use the cylinder off of the bike, but it showed 3600 miles turned over and had good compression so I put the engine on the 450. It runs and sounds good I took it for a short ride to check all the gears but thats as far as its gone. The siren is 12 volt off something else, not the gear drive that it would of had and the light I had laying around. The bike will need restored, tires need replaced, spokes and wheels have some rust on them. It is missing the tank emblems and turn signals. It has a small bent on the right chrome tank cover the frame has some surface rust will need repainted.and the crash bars will need rechromed I had the seat recovered and the seat pan patched up the left stock muffler and head pipe will need replaced. I have the right muffler and its ok mufflers on the bike are after market. The stock engine and parts comes with the bike chain gaurd right muffler tool box and any other parts I have for it.
