Vehicle Detail
1967 Ford F100 short wide bed pickup truck Good running 300 Cubic inch 6 cylinder -- these old six cylinders are amazingly easy on fuel ! 3-speed manual on the floor Good tires and brakes All the lights work speedo and fuel gauge work heater/wipers work brand new battery bitchin' old school Turbine mags ! lol please read description This truck has a nice straight body, not perfect by any means but nice. The paint was professionally done about 7 years ago(base/clear) and has been used as a daily driver so its not a show truck but it looks pretty good(The pictures don't do the paint justice, it has a very brilliant shine to it!) It does have some rust bubbles starting to show through the paint in spots but not bad for the age of the truck and paint. The truck was really straight before paint so there is very little body work done on the truck before it was painted. the tailgate never got the chrome ford letter insert put back on after the paint job so you'd probably want to get a new chrome insert off ebay or from LMC truck. The truck runs out good and is easy to drive. The interior was not my doing, I personally do not care for bucket seats in these old trucks but thats what someone put in it, the carpet could use replacing its just some cheap stuff. The drivers side hood hinge has an attitude and needs a bolt replaced or a new hinge(it opens, closes, and holds the hood up but it needs attention. also a crack in the drivers side wing window (doesn't leak). All in all this would make a commuter, or a good hot rod project I think it would be great for a kid or someone who needs a daily driver project because its dead reliable but needs some of this and some of that - the inside passenger door handle doesn't work for some reason, but the door opens and closes nice with the outside handle, the truck will need floor pans sometime in the future, they aren't gaping with holes but need attention-however the cab mounts are very solid. the floor pans are available for a couple hundred bucks from LMCtruck.com and I believe Sacramento Vintage sells them as well. I do that kind of work myself but since I know not veryone has the time/equipment I checked with a local body shop and they quoted me $225 labor so its not a large investment. there has been some rust repair on the bed floor and it looks solid. I am letting this truck go for a steal! this is an amazing price for a short wide in this shape! I know it may sound like alot of stuff, but I am all about full disclosure so there aren't any suprises when you get the truck. Realistically, in a few weekends you could have this truck a 100% again. I had intentions of putting a 429/C6 or a 460/C6 in this truck and have a sharp liitle hot rod that you wouldn't be afraid to drive everyday, but other projects are occupying all of my time right now so I need to let it go to someone who will have some fun with it. I am also including a nice chrome rear bumper with the brackets. If you're looking at this I don't need to tell you that these short beds in decent shape are getting increasingly hard to find, so keep that in mind. Please bid with confidence, view my feedback - I'm up front and honest about my vehicles and parts. Shipping seems to run about $ .80 - $1.20 per loaded mile in the continental US. there are some good resources here on Ebay and check your phone book for Auto transport. Or pick it up if you're in the area!
