Up for sale is my 2000 Honda XR400. It is being sold only because I have no time to ride. It has less than 500 miles on it & is in mint condition.It is all original;decals,tires,seat,etc. It has been adult owned & adult ridden(when I could find the time).This bike is the definition of "Cream Puff".I always changed the oil at less than 100 mile intervals. I would reset the odometer after each oil change. This bike has been very well taken care of & always kept inside. There is no rust, no rips, no smashed bottom frame rails, no issues at all. It does not even have the common XR400 problem of a seized swing arm bolt. I took this one out (it came out very easily), greased it up, & re-installed it. Tires are still in great shape,visually it looks almost new, mechanically it is perfect.The grips are original & even they look new.When you start it up The engine still has that crisp tight sound of a new engine, as it should since it is not even broken in completely yet. You can still smell some of the cosmoline as it warms up. When I did ride it, I would let it warm up before riding. The engine has yet to see red line, or anywhere near it. If you want a near new,trouble free bike that will last a lifetime, this is it. It will come with a bill of sale. The bike was never titled, it originally came with a certificate of origin,which I no longer have.The owners manual,an extra oil & air filter also come with it.I hate to see it go, but working out of town, I have no time to ride. Bike must be picked up. I am near Marlinton,WV.
