THIS DUNEBUGGY HAS A LOT OF NEW PARTS BUT NEEDS TO BE FINISHED. Has a clear 1973 VW Michigan title and a newly rebuilt 1500cc motor - needs to be wired (have all new wiring)...Also needs a new gas tank (fuel cell included), and the brakes are spongy from sitting...The seats are black fiberglass racing seats, like new (see Pic) and need to be bolted in and seat belts added...The color is purple, but shows as a blue in these pictures. Has a real nice set of centerline rims on it with new tires in the rear and good tires on the front - chevy 5 lug conversion...The 4 speed trans has no issues...Has a tow bar (not shown), and it tows real easy, so you don't need a trailer to take it home, only a hitch...I probably could get more for this buggy, but I'd like to move it before winter sets in. If you are looking for a simple project for the winter, this may be it...With a little time it should be worth at least twice my starting bid...I don't have the time to finish this one, as I just took on a 1968 427 Corvette Conv. to restore. Car is located in Lincoln, Mi 48742...approx 3.5 hours north of Detroit. I will not release the car until paid for in full...I prefer cash...A bank check will have to be held until cleared... You could not build a buggy like this one for my asking price, not to mention all the time involved getting it to this level...In a good economy this is a $5,000 Plus buggy. Hit the buy-it now and I'll throw in a ton of extra VW Bug and Dune Buggy parts...Including a complete good extra rebuildable engine, 4 extra cv joints, engine parts, new muffler, complete set of 4 VW Bug wheels with tires, books and manuals, more wiring, etc., etc.,...easily worth an extra $500, even in today's soft market !!! ... I'm getting out of the Buggy hobby and everything will go !!!
