Vehicle Detail
So-Cal Speed Shop Sacramento So-Cal Speed Shop Sacramento is proud to offer a 1932 Ford Roadster built by the Brookville Roadster Company. The Brookville Roadster Company, based in Ohio, is the premier steel Ford reproduction body manufacturer in the world. This is the actual 1932 Ford Roadster, built from the ground up by The Brookville Roadster Company, for the 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas. It has been shown by them through-out the country at various trade shows and invitationals to show off the company's products; only the best craftsmanship, materials, and parts were used. This car was built and driven from Ohio to the 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas by Kenny Gollahon & his father Ray Gollahon, Hot Rodder & founder of Brookville Roadster: the pioneer of the all-steel reproduction Ford bodies. This is your opportunity to own a vehicle professionally built by the company who revolutionized the Hot Rod world. The classic lines of this clean roadster are accentuated by the beautiful paint and modest pinstriping. The Rootlieb hood features louvers, chrome center hinge and latches, and pinned sides for vibration-free driving. The tan leather interior, Rod Tops convertible / collapsible canvas top and side curtains are perfect color accents to the car’s paint and will neatly fold away. The bench seat folds forward to reveal a small, secret storage compartment with a kill switch and the seat bottom flips up as well. The cockpit also features a Lokar shifter with a polished V8 shift knob, chrome parking brake lever, Limeworks polished column and aluminum column drop with built in turn signals, seat belts, chrome pedals, Auto Meter 120 MPH speedometer and retro style Quad Gauge System (oil/amp/temp/fuel gauge), and more. The engine is a Chevrolet / GM 383ci V8 stroker, crate motor with a polished Edelbrock intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor, finned aluminum air cleaner with matching valve covers, and ceramic coated headers. Some other features in the nicely detailed engine compartment include polished stainless hard and soft lines as well as "A-N"fittings, chrome one wire alternator, polished aluminum pulleys, electronic ignition, Walker radiator, chrome overflow tank, chrome water pump, polished billet-aluminum wire looms, and more. The torquey V8 is backed a GM TH350 automatic transmission, which is mated to a new Currie 9" differential via a new balanced driveshaft. The boxed frame is also a Brookville Roadster Company product, so you know the quality is of the highest level and has been painted to match the body. The front suspension is comprised of a chrome Magnum 4 inch drop front axle, Pete & Jakes chrome hairpins, perches, and Bilstein polished aluminum gas shocks. The steering is by a CPP Vega steering box. The rear suspension is a chrome triangulated four link with adjustable aluminum Bilstein coil-over shocks. The car is equipped with Magnum disc brakes up front with polished covers and Currie 11 inch "Police Special" drum brakes out back. The car rolls on 15"big and little steel smoothies by Wheels Vintique, wrapped in BFG Silvertown radial wide white wall tires (165 R15 up front and 285 R15 out back). Some other features on this car include: ceramic coated headers, magnaflow mufflers, fully coated dual exhaust to rear of the car, a chopped chrome windshield frame, chrome side and interior mirrors, chrome tie rods, 1939 Ford taillights, wiring by Haywire, chrome spreader bars, as well as many other details. Overall, this highly detailed roadster is in very good condition and is a 9.5 out of 10. Please view the numerous pictures we have provided so you can get an idea of its condition. We highly encourage all prospective buyers to come to our shop and inspect the roadster in person. A great deal of time and effort was invested into this car's fit and finish, which now allows the hood, doors, and drunk to line up well and open/ close with ease. The car runs and drives with plenty of power and it does not overheat, even in our 100 degree Sacramento weather. The car handles nicely on the freeway and is a pleasure to drive. With the aid of the modern brakes the car stops very well. The car is currently registered through May 2011 and the clear Ohio title is on hand. The car is legally titled as a 1932 Ford. There is just a touch over 3k miles on the odometer. PLEASE REVIEW OUR FEEDBACK!!!!! WE HAVE BEEN BUYING AND SELLING CARS, AND PARTS ON EBAY FOR8 YEARS WITH ALMOST 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK.
