Vehicle Detail

Hello, here is a 2008 gmc acadia that we have for sale. It does have a prior salvage minnesota title. for those of you that don't fully understand a prior salvage title i will explain that below. this acadia i bought for myself a few months ago. i love this acadia and i plan on keeping it. however if i can make a few bucks on it, then i will strongly consider selling it. i can tell you that my reserve is more then 18k but less then 20k. its a 2008 gmc acadia slt-2 which means that its fully loaded. the only thing it doesn't have is the AWD option, this is a FWD acadia. some of the options that it has is NAVIGATION, REAR DVD, REAR BUCKET SEATS, LEATHER SEATS, REMOTE START, DUAL MOON ROOFS, REAR POWER HATCH, TRACTION CONTROL, ECT. your welcome to come and see this acadia before you bid and take it for a drive if you would like. in fact if you live close to me, i would strongly suggest that you drive it before you bid, just as you should with any used car or truck. the last two pictures are of the prior damage before it was repaired. no air bags were deployed and the body shop that fixed this acadia told me that it must have been parked when it was hit because NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED and there was no directional damaged. so they were guessing that it was backed into. the damaged was only to the driver front corner. the fender was pushed in and that damaged the headlight, and then pushed into the front corner of the hood just enough for us to have to get a new hood for it. and then the bumper cover was tore a little, so i also had to get a new bumper cover. when the headlight was pushed in a bit, it hit the radiator and broke off one of the male hose ends causing us to replace the cooling as well. otherwise thats all that was done. nothing was done or needed inside the acadia at all, no drivetrain was damaged. and i took it into another shop here in town for a fresh oil change and an alignment and they told me they didn't need to adjust anything because the alignment was still correct. i have driven this acadia for a few thousand miles and there are no shimmies or shakes in it at all. A deposit of $250 must be made with in 24hours of the auction via pay pal or cash in person. the balance must be made with in 7 days of the end of the auction. If you come here in person and if for some reason you don't want the acadia then i will refund half your deposit. THATS ONLY IF YOU COME SEE IT IN PERSON. If for some reason you cant come up with the funds to pay for the car or if you fail to contact me after the auction then the $250 deposit will be non-refundable. I would strongly prefer that the balance is paid for in cash or wire transfer. if you plan on paying with a bank check, please pick up the acadia during business hours so we can verify your check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS. What does SALVAGE title and PRIOR SALVAGE means? Many people are not familiar with the meaning of Salvage or Prior Salvage/Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage and Prior Salvage" terminology: SALVAGE title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the car. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have a single scratch on it. We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, and theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage. In brief Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. We do not buy anything with major damage. Now for PRIOR SALVAGE/ REBUILT titles, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a prior salvage aka rebuilt title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road. It saves a lot of trouble for buyers as they don’t have to get the car inspected or fill out any extra paper work as is the case with Salvage title. With prior salvage/rebuilt title, buyers can simply walk into the DMV and get the car registered without any repair documents or inspection work. any questions that you have, please e-mail them to me so i can post the response on this ad so others can see it. lastly, i am still driving this acadia everyday, so the miles will go up slightly
