1978 Honda CB550 Four K model with 25786 original miles. Very clean bike for the age. Bought it from a guy who had kept it in the family until recently.The ignition has been replaced as well as the exhaust. Now a 4 into 1 Kerker I believe but not marked.The seat is perfect top and bottom.The chrome is in great shape but could stand a better clean up.The tank has a few chips but appear to be very minor.Paint has prestine gleam of the "Showroom" look. Sidecovers are very nice.Engine looks clean as does the frame. The front rim has a little surface rust in a very few spots.Inside the tank is 100% clean.The choke must be hand held up because the locking device is broke.Bike runs and shifts strong.I recommend a tune-up and good going through because it has been sitting for a while. No signs of dry rot anyplace on the bike. Overall a very nice 550 so bid with confedince. A $200.00 Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of the auctions end. Pick-up within 7 days unless other arrangements are made. On Oct-24-10 at 16:51:58 PDT, seller added the following information: The bike does not smoke tick rattle or anything funny..... Bike has a clear NYS title..... No you cant ride it home!!!! For more then one reason or other I've had a few guys tell me this was their plan??? Legal reasons you just can't unless other arrangements are made such as titling in your name..... Insurance...you know the basics??!!....... As stated you may want to give it a good going through since it was sitting for a while.... Tires are about 70% and look great......
