And away we go...BUY IT NOW for $30,000.00. No more questions about the reserve or how much it will take to buy this truck. It's $30,000.00. Please NO offers below this price. Since there was so much interest last time and we got closer to making a deal...let's give it another spin. This beautiful 1956 is an original Big Window edition. That's why you're here. I don't need to tell you that Ford made 6200 of these back in the day or how strong of a collectible they have always been. You know all of this. You're here to find the right one. I actually purchased this one on Ebay a few years back after owning two previous editions. This model has everything I wanted in a finished show n' go package and we had it shipped out from a dealer in Georgia, via it's original owner in North Carolina, who put all the blood, sweat and tears into its completion. When it arrived, we went through and made sure all of the electrical was functioning properly and made some subtle changes with an MSD ignition, new plug wires, professional tune and tweaked the fuel system delivery. The roughly 8000 miles represents the previous owners build completion and a few thousand of those driving here in Southern California over the last two years. Let me say that this is a striking '56 that drives strong and consistently and can undoubtedly be driven to wherever you are in the United States without any hesitation. You know you have something special when people yell at you from across the street at stop lights, when strangers pull you over to take a closer look and you get offers to buy in the first week of owning the vehicle. Let me say that this truck is not perfect, but close to it with very unique mods that make it every guy's dream ride and the ideal classic truck to go on a roadtrip or to the show or your favorite 50's diner. It is powered by a 351 Windsor with mild cam---Holly Street Avenger 650cfm carb---Edelbrock manifold--Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers --Nascar custom radiatior with billet overflow and override switch--early 70s GM front end--Mustang 2 brake booster--Vintage Air heat and ac--Power windows--Power steering--Power brakes--AOD transmission--Custom gage cluster-No Limit tilt hood and accessories (pedals, rear light wire housing, etc)--Heidt's fuel door frenched on driver side rear fender--Extra wide Fiberglass rear fenders--Fiberglass running boards--Third brake light frenched in cab--Oak bed with stainless trim features and locks--Custom black skirt around cab bottom--Original rear end with brakes rebuilt--Rear air shocks--Interior upholstery redone just prior to it's shipping to SoCal featuring roof design, back of cab, sound deadening in cab, doors and leather seat--Original frame with Camaro front welded/channelled or boxed/springs cut/no spindle kit--Flowmaster duals that sound nasty--Shorty bumpers (front and back)--Banjo steering wheel--All glass perfect with new seals--Tires are BF Goodrich (305s in rear/235 in front/17 inch American Racing Wheels) Good condition--1998 Ford Mustang Vermillion Red clearcoat paint in very good condition--body straight NO RUST. My personal mechanic knows this truck better than anyone right now and has been through it extensively and of course, I invite your mechanic (if local) or you to take a preview of the truck in anticipation of a bid. It merges onto freeways with no problem and keeps up with regular traffic speeds with plenty of power and sails along the highway very comfortably. It has a beautiful stance and sits low so it can be a bit stiff on some local roads and has scratched lower front bumper a bit but nothing serious or very noticeable. There is also a touchup where tilt hood chipped edge of fender; difficult to see in photos but can try. This truck was modified in North Carolina and apparently our California emissions requirements are different when it comes to fuel pump nozzles. It takes a slow and steady trigger out here to fill the tank with the custom fuel door on fender or it will overflow. It did not give the previous owner any trouble in his state. Also features a kill switch under seat. Door locks and all electronics are in working condition. No windshield wipers. Holes on cab filled and air vent sealed. Also has cd sound system. A few items set this '56 apart from any others you might run across...third brake light is a great feature that utilizes a car spoiler light that is frenched into rear cab for better visibility...also the fuel door moved to driver's rear fender with no tank behind seat and custom engine bay with stainless liner and numerous chrome engine parts. It sits like a custom '56 should and the rear fenders are extra wide to fit the 305's. It obviously draws a lot of attention with the Vermillion red and regularly out draws exotic cars and other high end vehicles at gas stations in this area when fueling because of its great lines and attention to detail. You are always the King of the Road in this 1956 F-100. I have a short video that I can send which lets you hear how mean this '56 sounds if you're interested. Sold as is. Inspections welcome. Can be shipped at buyer's expense from Los Angeles metro area. Please call Kevin at 310-897-3505 and thanks again for looking.
