1963 Mercury Monterey Custom 2-Door Hardtop Breezeway -- very nice original old car. Runs and drives great. This car has had 3 owners purchased new by a man in Great Falls MT from the dealer in St Joseph MO (see window sticker). I purchased this car and 2 others at an auction about a month ago, but I'm only keeping one. In 1991 the car went to White Sulphur Springs MT , a number of years later it was sold to the people in Helena. It looks like it had a repaint sometime in its life. 390 ci 2-barrel engine, Mercomatic transmission, The engine has some small oil leaks but nothing major. I've replaced the valve cover gaskets. As far as I can tell.the upholstery is very nice and all original, and there appears to have never been any rust. The 2-door hardtop with breezeway rear window is somewhat rare as opposed to the 4-door hardtops. There is also a set of dog dish hubcaps that go with the car if someone wants them. I removed the padded dash cover as it was beginning to wrinkle & shrink, but I think it could be repaired & reinstalled. All the numbers are correct on this car. The right side wing window doesn't close properly. The Radio comes on but does not play the stations All the windows are Ford Script except for the windshield. This car is very tight. It runs & drives very good. The tires are good. Fly in - drive it home. I don't require a deposit which will give the winning bidder a chance to look at it, and if it's not as described the bidder isn't obligated to complete the transaction. As nice as this old car is, there is no warranty expressed or implied. Shipping or delivery is the responsibility of the high bidder, but I am retired and will help in any way I can.
