2002 Ferrari 360 Modena 6 speed - Rosso Corsa & Tan Additional photos of item - click thumbnail to view You are bidding on my 2002 Ferrari 360 Modena with manual 6 speed gated manual transmission. This is a US model car with approximately 16,973 miles. The VIN number is ZFFYU51A120127727 and the assembly number 44891. This car has the following upgrades/options: 2002 360 Modena, 16,973 miles Rosso Corsa/ Tan, Manual Transmission All manuals, Keys, Key Fobs, Covers Radio Pin code Alarm Security Pin code Factory Shields Factory Power Daytona Seats Factory Challenge Rear Grill Factory Challenge Front Grill Factory Sun Roof Factory 3 Piece Wheels Factory 2001 F1 champs dedication plaque on dash Battery Saver/Tender/Charger 2nd owner, purchased from factory authorized Ferrari dealership Major Service with belt change Jul 2006 Hyper-Flow Cats and Mille Miglia sports exhaust Interior Perfect! Black carpeting Wheels Perfect! Skid plates under front bumper Original cats and exhaust are in good working order (included with sale) Leather head liner option I purchased this car in August of 2006 with about 8000 miles on it. After purchasing the car, I had it transported to Monterey, CA from Hinsdale, IL (in enclosed transport). The car arrived in spectacular condition - far better than I expected. When it rolled off the truck, it looked like it had just come out of the factory in Italy. Since taking delivery of the car, I have enjoyed it and driven it quite a bit. Mainly the miles on the car are from driving around Monterey to check my mail or go to the bank. Once in a while I'll take it down HW 1 or up to Santa Cruz for lunch. The car runs great and sounds wonderful with the sports exhaust and hyper flow cats. The original Ferrari exhaust and Ferrari cats are included in the sale of this car. As indicated, this car is Rosso Corsa with a tan interior. I spent almost a year searching for this color combination with a sun roof and a 6 speed manual transmission and with a solid tan interior without the "colorful" stitching and/or piping, etc. It's even more difficult to find this color combination in a 6 speed manual transmission, since everyone seems to have ordered an F1 transmission.    As you can see from the photos the interior and the exterior are in great condition. I am very careful with all my cars. This car is stored inside and the leather is in excellent condition. I have applied leather cream to the entire interior a number of times. There is no leather stretching or shrinkage and all the stitching is perfect. Some marks on the rubber coated window buttons (very common). I was going to remove the little coating that Ferrari puts on the buttons on both sides, but never got around to it. The leather is excellent with some very minor wear on the drivers side bolster. The shifter is scratch free. There are a couple of scuffs in the side aluminum door panels, but nothing major for a car that is used day to day. While I have owned the car, the following repairs have been made: Airbag sensor replaced (2008) Air Conditioner hose replaced (2009) Local Ferrari shop completed all repairs. Other than that, just routine fluids changes and inspections. Last service was completed in March 2010, motor, brake and clutch fluid changed. Four new brembo rotors and new brake pads. Above are some random photos I snapped while the car was on the lift. When I received the car, I noticed the rear tail lights had the common "bulge" in the clear part of the lenses (which results from heat when the reverse lights are on). I replaced the two inner tail lights and switched the reverse bulbs to 1156 LX3 luxeon LED's. It gives a nice white look and does not heat up the lenses any longer. The reverse lights are not as bright as the stock incandescent bulbs, but how far do you really drive your 360 in reverse? Not far. As shown, the car includes all the normal accessories. Two sets of keys, as well as the red master remote. The manuals, took kit, flat tire kits, etc. Also included are the red car & seat covers. It's all in a red bag. I have never used the red car cover on this car. I used to use my red cover that came with my 355, but it was a hassle. For the 360, I purchased a very nice tan car cover off the internet and always used that (when I put a cover on) instead of the red factory one. The tan cover is available if requested. The photos above are ones I pulled from my collection of photos. I have many pictures of the car, so if you need to see something specific, just let me know. I have photographed every repair and every oil change that was completed on this car. So if requested I will provide those. I'm happy to take any specific photos if needed. Overall, the car is in outstanding condition. The front has a few rock chips here and there, but nothing major. The tires probably will need replacing in another 4000 or 5000 miles. There is probably 30% tread left. The car runs great. Let me see... I have also done a few minor other things. I installed a new pollen filter last year, although it's probably time for another one. I replaced the visible washers and screws in the engine bay with stainless steel washers and hex head screws. They really look great, but only Ferrari guys would notice this subtle upgrade. I also had one of my two keys painted Rosso Corso to match the car - this gives the key a really nice smooth feeling and really stands out. Another nice upgrade on this car is the repositioning of the alarm antenna. On your average 360, the remote control works from only about 5 or 6 feet away (which is really a hassle). By going into the electrical area behind the seat, you can move the alarm antenna to a better location where the metal of the car does not block the radio waves from the remote. This results in the alarm working from a distance of more like 30 feet or so, which is really a breath of fresh air compared to how it comes from the factory. This car has been my pride and joy for the last four years. I have enjoyed driving it and taken great care of it. I hate to part with it, but the time has come to make room in the garage. Additionally, with my current working schedule, I have just not had time to drive the car as much as I used to. I still drive it once a week to keep the battery charged and exercise the motor, but with family and work, I just don't seem to find the time to enjoy it as I once did. My hope is that someone will appreciate how well this car has been taken care of and will take over ownership of it and provide the same level of care as I have. This car has always been garaged and comes from a non-smoking house hold. It has never been abused. I have taken one performance driving class with it at Laguna Seca with an instructer next to me. It has never been raced or crashed. Everything on the car works as it should and the interior/exterior are both in wonderful condition. It's ready to be enjoyed by the new owner :-) If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me. The car has a clear title. High bidder will be responsible for pickup and/or transport from Monterey, CA 93940. The car is located at my house. Serious buyers are welcome to buy lunch and I'll bring the car down town for inspection. I'm also happy to work with your transport company and drive the car to an easy location for loading (within 10 miles). Again, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the e-mail address provided below. Also included are a comprehensive set of 360 service manuals on PDF (a $500 value).   Bottom line is there are lots of 360s floating around, but when you look, some do not have all the keys or the remote codes, or the manuals, etc.. always something missing. That is one thing that is really important to me when purchasing a car. I want every little sticker :). # # # # # Shipping & Deposit: If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.
