1999 BMW R-Series

Thank you for your interest in my motorcycle. As many of you know, I received a 'buy in now' bid, which closed the auction yesterday. Unfortunately, the buyer was not legitimate, so I have rejected the bid and reopened the auction. Its a great bike and I know that whoever wins the auction will be very happy. If you have questions, please let me know. Dark metallic grey 1999 BMW R1100R with antilock brakes and in mint condition with less than 3,500 miles. The bike is in great condition and includes BMW hard bags. This BMW maintained motorcycle has always been garaged and looks / runs great. Newborn baby forces sale. Clear title in hand. My brother and I purchased this beautiful bike from the original owner and I bought him out of the deal several years ago. The original owner is a female friend of ours. She bought it thinking she could handle it, but it’s an 1100, so the bike was too powerful for her. The bike had been sitting in her garage, unused while she made the payments. She was moving to Utah for grad school and needed to sell the bike – that’s where we came into the picture. We had the bike fully serviced at BMW of Orlando before starting it for the first time. At that time, the bike had less than 1000 miles on it. The bike has been inspected and serviced by BMW dealerships in Georgia and Florida and is in perfect running condition. This bike has been meticulously maintained and rarely ridden. It does not have any dents and is in excellent shape. Since it’s a 1999 model, there are a few imperfections, but its got less than 3,500 miles on it, so its beautiful and as close to new as you can get. Take a look at the pictures - as you can see from the close up pictures, its very, very clean. There are no issues with this soon-to-be classic, mint condition BMW. The bike has not been dropped or in an accident and is in great running condition with no mechanical issues. The battery was purchased from BMW last year. The paint is pretty much perfect. In fact, I rate it as extremely clean because there are absolutely no scratches, dints, dings, or fading. One thing to note, there are a few scratches on the hard bags, which I purchased used and separate from the bike. The bags are 100% watertight and in great working order, with the keys matched to the ignition key (I’ve got two sets of keys). My original intent was to keep this bike forever, but it’s rarely been ridden - work and life have gotten in the way. I hate to do it, but I’m selling this bike because my wife just gave birth to our first child and I promised I would sell the bike Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and costs, if any. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close.
