GENERAL You are looking at a custom built 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport . This vehicle was originally created for long distance 4x4 trail rides and off road exploration. Unfortunately times have changed, and I need to sell. This vehicle has just 38,000 miles total, with less than 5,000 of those on the Dynatrac ProRock 60s. Has been accepted into several “Rubicon Only” clubs, this is even “Rubicon” than the Rubis! ENGINE Jeep 4.0 in-line 6-cylinder– 210 hp, 395 ft.lb. Torque (current specs, which are just a little better than stock), largely from the AEM DRY element cold air intake, custom stainless steel exhaust, Royal Purple motor oil and Fitch fuel management system. Engine is cooled by new custom Be-Cool aluminum radiator and Flex-a-Lite electric fan. Complete custom stainless exhaust exits on the opposite side from the gas tank fuel filler, keeping safety in mind! Brand new Optima Red Top. Urethane heater hoses. Never ANY gas but CHEVRON since new!!! Royal Purple in EVERY gear box, plus grease. BTW, I get over 19 mpg on the freeway!!! DRIVE TRAIN South of the engine is a smooth and strong NV3550 5-speed manual overdrive transmission. Power then flows through an Atlas transfer case with 4.3 low range These then connect to the not even broken in yet, Dynatrac ProRock 60s, via custom Woods drive lines. The axles feature high steer at the front, Detroit Lockers F&R, with 5.13 gears, 4-wheel disc brakes and fresh 1-ton Warn hubs. Royal Purple in EVERY gear box. BODY Body is perfect un-rusted and un-hit original. Hard doors with roll-up windows and the factory Sailcloth black soft top. Inside is covered with LINE-X, before the original carpet was placed on top of that. A custom Poison Spyder Customs complete roll cage completely replaces the stock 'sports bar'. The roll cage looks especially great with the top off the Jeep. Outside, Currie rocker guards below the doors, with Poison Spyder steel corner guards, with WHITE when off, flush-mounted tail lights. Also have nearly body color matching Besttop soft half doors, with the upper halves as well. These save the really nice (and expensive) hard doors when off road, reduce weight, and give a great open feeling. 1" Currie body lift (with corresponding Currie motor mounts). BUMPERS Up front is Currie shorty bumper (and Currie Anti-Rock 'sway bar'). Rear bumper is a Hanson with tire carrier which also carries your High Lift jack and CB antenna. I have added the option of bolt-on single bike carrier to this (when the tire in left in garage!). SUSPENSION Complete Rubicon Express 5.5” Long Arm with rear Triangulation Kit, Bilstein 5100 long travel, self-adjusting shocks all round. TIRES & WHEELS BFG Mud-Terrains, 35x12.50/15, mounted on 15x10 black steelies. With the axles, the wheel bolt pattern was also returned to conventional Jeep 5-on5.5 bolt pattern, popular with most of the other Jeeps on the trail, as well as certain Ford and Chevy light trucks. INTERIOR Factory leather steering wheel. Brand new Mastercraft traditional suspension seats with adjustable head rest and adjustable lumbar (grey vinyl with red cloth seat surface), and grey Mastercraft racing seat belts. Not the 'Rubicon' seats but the original Mastercraft seats. Please note that these seats are securely mounted to the floor in the stock locations via NOT the stamped steel OE brackets, but custom constructed and powder coated tubing, perfectly formed to blend into the interior, and mount the seats and belts far more safely than reusing the flimsy stock parts. Also features factory Air Conditioning, single CD player, and custom Sunbrella sun shade (bikini top?!) which matches the seats, ie grey fabric with matching red stripes. This jeep has had a lot of thought, time and money spent on it.
