I have fond memories of these cars and when I saw it, I knew immediately that it was the one for me. The acquisition of a car like this is not for the faint of heart! Unless you have been living in the under a rock somewhere, you should know that the Plymouth 'Cuda is one of the most sought after muscle cars that you could own. Purchasing a car like this is a huge undertaking and requires a huge commitment emotionally and financially. Considering the fact that it is such a rare car, it deserved only the best of restorations. I have invested countless hours on the details of this car, not to mention the money spent and the research conducted. I have driven this for nearly 900 Miles now, and there is not a time that goes by when I am not stopped or followed home by someone to ask about the car. It is absolutely a beautiful car that turns the heads of all who see it. You may ask, why I am selling it. I love to work in the garage with my boys and this project is complete. It is now time to move on and share this beautiful classic car with someone else. I hope you enjoy looking through the web site and if you have any questions, please feel free to send an e-mail There is so much information which goes along with a restoration like this so I have it documented on a dedicated website. EVERYTHING that could be replaced has been. 100% ZERO rust car. No expense was spared with the components to bring this car into the 21st century with high performance and style. Take a look at the spec sheet and just a quick tally in parts alone will easily total over $30,000.00. This is not including any Labor....or the original car! There is little lacking in this car and mechanically it is brand new from front to back. I have put just over 900 miles on the car since finishing it and have enjoyed every mile. Some areas to note: When I built this car it was my intention to put in a air conditioning retrofit. A Vintage air kit would would easily fit, however, I never added it. The paint job is a 8-9 out of 10. It is a Tri-color candy paint which is very unforgiving in the process. With this knowledge, I knew there would be slight imperfections in the paint. On a $15,000.00 show quality paint job, they simply repaint that area. I however built this car to drive and was willing to accept minor blems that come along with this type of paint. I will include pictures of all blems in the "finished product" gallery on the website. BUYMYCUDA.com Also, the car has yet to be fully color sanded. This being said....to the onlooker on the street, this car turns heads where ever it goes. Another area: The custom interior door panels which are painted to match the exterior have a few scratches from the seat belts at the bottom. This could be easily fixed with an upholstery bump pad. For MANY MANY more PICTURES including the restoration and a VIDEO of the car, go to: BUYMYCUDA.com Please visit website before asking any questions. You might just find the answer there in pictures and info. My email is available on the site if further answers are needed. On Oct-15-10 at 09:44:39 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: _______________________________________________________________ First off, I just want to say thanks for all the nice comments people have sent on the car. It is nice to see that people appreciate it and the hard work that went in to it. I just wanted to take the time to add some more info and answer some questions that I keep getting over and over to save a little time. 1: RESERVE: I have had tons of people ask me what the reserve is. I will just say that it is VERY reasonable and I fully know that I will not get every dollar out of this car that I put in. (not even close). For those that know these cars I'll give a little clue. Take the price of a base unrestored car like this, add the just the major parts that I put in off the spec sheet and that is right around the reserve. This obviously does not include ANY labor, misc or paint. In other words....the car is priced to sell! 2: TRADES: I have lots of offers of various trades. I am not really looking for trades, however....I might consider a trade for a nice single engine airplane of similar value. (Cessna 182, Cherokee 180 etc)...If you have a similar trade, I would be interested to hear what you are offering. 3: COMING TO LOOK AT CAR: I have had requests to come look at the car and so I wanted to give you all some info to help you make plans if you desire. The car is located about 20 min south of Charlotte NC. About 10 min off I77 off 485. It is very easy to get to. If you want to fly in, Charlotte Douglas International is your best bet (CLT). I am less then 30 minutes from the airport. If you have access to a small private plane, I am less then 10 min from Monroe Airport (KEQY). Please give me at least two days notice so I can arrange my schedule. I will do the best to accommodate all. Once again....thanks for all the interest in the car. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
