Up for auction is my 1982 mercedes 300 tdt wagon. i purchesed this car recently to take on a long road trip from indiana to costa rica. well it turns out this car is just to nice for me to take so i bought another wagon that i feel better about abusing on the rough roads south of the border. if i didnt need the money for the trip i would keeps this car as my driver, when i get back. any way now im selling it so i can head south. i have done a lot of maintenance to this car to get it ready for the trip. here is a list of things i had repaired. * new battery * new rear suspension accumulators ($ 350.00) * new rear cv axle (used) * new center support bearing * air filter * oil change * tranny filter and fluid change * valve adjustment * valve guide seals * all throttle and suspention linkage was gone through and lubricated * all other fluids were inspected * brakes were inspected and in great shape so shimmies or shakes this car lived most of its life in Texas and Georgia. the paint and body are in excellent condition, there is no rust anywhere on the body, floor boards, under the carpets, around the wheel wells or under wagon part where they tend to rust out. there are two small surface spots right behind the rear tires from chips in the paint this car does have 251000 miles on it. however you can not tell at all. the seats are firm and ride nice. the carpets are really clean,with no staining. the dash is in excellent condition. i have had several of these cars and know them pretty well. this is the cleanest one ever seen. i would drive this thing anywhere. the car does puff a little blue smoke when warm and running, the motor does have a lot of miles on it. it still runs and drives great i just want to be as hones as posible so you know what to expect when car is picked up. the heater controls work as they should but ac does not have a belt on it it was converted and charged somewhat recently. i do not know what is wrong with ac system compressor does spin freely. please watch the attached video of the car on you tube you might have to cut and past to get to the right place i am not a computer person but i am trying. lol i think it will help you get a better look at the car. sale is as is where i. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKIhtwbDAuI regards Caleb feel free to call me at 574-453-1447 with any questions. feel free to come take it for a test drive any time!!!
