1981 Honda

Vintage 1981 Honda C70 Passport - A Beauty! This scooter is in very good condition because it has been garage kept since day one. It has just 3,030 miles on it and handles great. All of the scooter is original (except the new battery). Cosmetically looks great- some minor rust on end of tailpipe, minor scrapes/scratches. No major dents or dings. Turn signals, tail light all work - headlight is not working (could be just the bulb). Installed new battery this spring. Automatic 3 speed (no clutch) shifts well and makes this bike very easy to ride. Bike does about 45 mph. Needs a carburator rebuild since I haven't ridden it in a while, causing it to run a little rough. The tires are original and show minor cracking. The electric starter does not work (which is common with this model) but it kick-starts easily. The seat is in great shape, as are the mirrors, hand grips, and foot pegs. This is a very nice bike which needs some minor TLC to provide years of fun! I will be selling it AS IS with a bill of sale. I have clear Illinois title. This bike is for pick-up, but, if you find a shipper that will come to my house and ship the bike for you with NO prep, that would be fine. I am about 20 miles N.W. of Chicago, Il.
