Vehicle Detail
Unique and Handy chopped Estate wagon. Bought and converted in 2006. Daily driver and work vehicle until May 2008. Here is a project you can win some awards with. The Wagomino has the original body and paint. No cover ups. There is some surface rust on the doors and under the passenger floor. Someone tried to do a glassjob under the floor in a small area. My daughters were in an accident that damaged the front plastic and collapsed the front bumper cylinders.( the Stratus was totalled) Neither of my girls was hurt at all~a very safe car. The front was stratened and I had the frame checked and the bushings replaced on the A arms as a precaution. It was stored from then until may of 2010 because of a long divorce( lost the shop) May of this year charged the battery and gave it some fresh gas drove it and cleaned it up decent and drove it while I did a frame change on my Jeep. Selling because of room limitations and lawer bills. Last month flushed the cooling system, got the AC working . The car came originally with an Olds 305 V8 which has been rebuilt as listed below. the car was also a platform for a Hybrid boost prototype I was working on(not going with the car) The rear power window works fine with only 3" exposed when full down because more would have required to severe a chop. Tailgate will open out or down yet not both ( still fine tuning the hidden finger latch. All windows track true. The air Auto ride leveling system has a small leak. Overall the Wagomino needs a good paint job and some little works done to bring it up to showcar status. When it's been driven to car shows it gets A LOT of attention in the parking area and it gets to much attention when used for shopping. Below is a list of some of the engine work. Added or repaced these items~ Edelbrock intake and 550 carb( polished)Distributer, removed over 40 ft of vaccume hose on top of motor, new rings, seals, oil pump, RV cam,K~N air filter and Olds rocketcool air intake set up, Electric cooling fan set up and mounts, ported exhaust in heads to match manifold, running Royal Purple oil, added underdash gages to augment idiot lite system, tach mounted into dash, bucket seats on original 6way controls( replaced stock control sw) all working fine plus lumber added. 5 16X8 Warrior rims with Hancock 16-225-60 tires. All body work is metal with half of a 12oz body glazing can used for complete project so far. The battery was new when it went into storage. new interior fan. new master brake cyl. and brakes were totally worked in 2008. new strarter, had the tranny (700R with overdrive) gone thru just after buying the car, new key cyl in columb,The center console is not attached yet-just handy, all hoses and belts and radiator replaced in 2008, new alt, custom 1 !/2' lift all around via custom springs. New frontbumper light housings have been added since pics taken. The Wagomino was my work and daily driver. The heaviest load was 18 bags af quickcrete and the longest single run was 450 miles. I let the tag expire July 31 to save money yet I've still tweeked and driven it around the area to check on the work. There are over 200 manhours in the chop itself and it was a very careful chop not a torch and turn. All the build notes and books will go with the car. I will gladly work with the winning bidder to be available for the car pick up for transport or drive away. Serious nquiries will be answered daily in the evening. Thanks for looking!!! The Wagomino is for sale locally also- so I reserve the right to end the auction early as the result of local sale. Selling because of divorce. Have you ever wondered how nice it would be to have 3/4 ton rated load limit with a passenger smooth ride at any load level~this is it.
