1961 Cadillac Sedan DeVilleYou are looking at a low mile 1961 Cadillac that was in the same family until just a few years ago. This car spent all of its life in Oregon and was used as a grocery getter for most of its life. She never spent much time out of the town she was bought in. I was not sure about the mileage until I got a good look at her and then took her on a drive. She is pretty dang tight and the interior is just way to clean for 155k. The original carpet has just about zero wear and having sold over 100 Classic Cadillac's, I know what 155k carpet looks like. Almost always a hole near the gas pedal. The steering is still nice and tight and she drives with a lot of power and the motor has never been rebuilt and there is no major carbon build up. She is just about all original minus one repaint . She spent her life in southern Oregon and is known for a dryer climate. There are ZERO RUST ISSUES on this car. She is super solid. The paint is a good driver quality and I just got her polished up and she looks good. Mechanically, she is in very good shape. The carb was recently gone through and after a little fussing she fires up. I drove her 400 miles home with no issues on my way back from Barrett Jackson in Las Vegas. The interior is in wonderful shape! The back seat is in mint condition and the front seat has a couple of mild splits but have been somewhat covered up but is near mint with almost no wear. The minor splits can be stitched and would be hard to tell they were. The door panels are in great shape as well as the dash pad. The carpets are in fine shape and the headliner too. A very nice interior. The chrome is in very good shape with only minor boo's on the very lower front end that are hard to see unless under the bumper looking up. The front bumper looking down is excellent for original and the rear is in very good condition. 6 WAY POWER WINDOWS (ALL WORK WITH SPEED) POWER SEAT (MOTOR WORKS SEAT DOES NOT MOVE) AUTRONIC EYE WORKING ORIGINAL RADIO All GAUGES WORK NOT EVEN A HINT OF RUST! SOLID FLOORS, TRUNK AND EXTERIOR! Overall, this is a great car to own. She will go anywhere and is a good #3 condition with the potential to be a #2 or #1 if you are nut job. Questions?
