1987 Suzuki LT500

This 1987 Suzuki LT500 is ready to ride. It has only had two short days of riding since it was rebuilt. It has been stored in a heated garage for the last 5 years. Many parts have been replaced as well. Bearings and seals have all been replaced and have virtually no ride time on them. The engine was ported and bored when I purchased it. This included a new piston and rings as well. It runs great and starts easily. The only issues that I see are some of the paint starting to come off of the cylinder of the engine. The rear fenders a;so have a crack that was repaired. The grips on the handlebars could be replaced as well. Extra set of fenders and rear bumper are also available. If there are enough bids on the item, I will include them. This is an adult ridden ATV that was not abused. It has not been buried in mud or water and it has been kept clean and lubricated. Maxima 927 Castor synthetic oil used since owned. For those that are not familiar with the model I will describe it. It is a 500cc single cylinder 2 wheel drive sport ATV. To my knowledge these were the largest displacement 2 stroke ATVs in their time. There are still plenty of them that are operational taking on dunes, hills, trails, etc. This machine runs and idles well. I own another LT500 as well or I wouldn't even consider selling this one. It is registered and titled in Indiana which makes transfers to other states much easier. This Quadzilla is also listed locally in Indianapolis, Indiana.
