Vehicle Detail
1952 Chevrolet Two Door Hardtop Deluxe Original 6 volt system. Front-end redone by Crane Alignment in Mt. Clemens, MI New gas tank and straps, gas lines and fuel pump. There is no rubber tubing on gas lines, straight metal gas lines from tank to original glass style gas filter to the rebuilt Rochester one barrel carburetor by Kargo. 216 motor / 3 on the tree with Fenton Headers from the 50's (not the new style with the tubes), dual exhaust with Smithy Mufflers. Love that old school sound. Chrome tips on exhaust ends. New exhaust two years ago. The car was redone (repainted) in 1985. Has some blemishes. I was told its not hard to touch up paint from 1985 compared to 1950. Detailed motor compartment. Detailed trunk. Detailed interior. Reverse lights - original Chevy parts. Turn signal switch is auto light from Chicago - vintage. A lot of new re-chromed but not perfect parts. They all look to be from the same time period. Seats were reupholstered in 1985 (Still looks Great). Front and back seat belts, can be hidden for show. New carpet and padding too. All accessories are GM, except for the unity fog lights, which are from the 1950's. All the chrome has been silver chassiss painted on the backside to prevent rust and pitting. Makes all the chrome look so much nicer when seen from an angle. All lights, radio, glove box and dome light work and also has working trunk lights. Needs drive and passanger door glass and passenger glass frame. All other glass is fine.
