For Sale is a 1972 Chevy Nova Drag Car or street car with clean title. Chassis: 10 Pt. roll cage was certified to 7.50's , should certify to 8.50's with today's new rules. Fiberglass hood, bumpers, trunklid. 4 linked with heavy duty rod ends. Anti roll bar. Front end converted to front steer. Rack and pinion. 4 wheel wilwood disc brakes with adjustable proportioning valve. Koni full adjustable shocks. 2 racing seats, some cheap gauges, MSD 7A-L3 with adjustable retard knobs. MSD ProPower Coil. Sportsman Chassis. Weld racing wheels, 15" x 10" and 15" x 3". Hoosier Quicktime Pro tires, 29 x 13.5. Wheels are a little faded but in good shape. 9 inch ford with 35 spline axles with 5/8 rear studs. Summit fuel pump. 4" Dynatech drive shaft with heavyduty joints. Billet Pinion Support. Bodywork looks good. I painted it Viper Blue myself and it came out OK. Motor is a 60 over 350 Chevy, stock crank, stock rods, 12 to 1 comp. speedpro pistons. New Dart Iron Eagle Heads 2.08 intake. 1.6 exhaust 230 runner size. Springs good to 700 lift. Cam is a Lunati 640 solid lift roller cam with rockers figured in, I think it's around 670 lift. Stainless full roller rockers. Lunati Roller lifters, comp pushrods .80 thousandths. Single plane aluminum intake manifold. Holley 750 CFM with proform main body, QuickFuel metering blocks, Proform electric water pump, aluminum radiator, 16" electric fan, fabricated valve covers, fabricated aluminum oil pan, ceramic coated 1 3/4 headers with small exhaust leak. Big fuel cell, 20 gallons, I think. Quick release steering wheel. Car has been professionally scaled and set up, NO NEED TO ADJUST THE CHASSIS AT ALL!! Koni double adjustable shocks. Car went 8.80 in quarter with a 555 Chevy. Also have 2 3/8 bbc headers, custom made just for this car, also black ceramic coated. 4 1/2 inch collector new 4.500 RPM stall with ballooning plate 9.5". Richmond Pro Gears 4:11, Moser axles and spool. Runs good, will have to be fine tuned to get jetting, timing where you want it. I bought the car from a friend a couple of years ago. I didn't touch the chassis adjustments at all. I was going to drive it on the street, that's why the bottom end of the motor isn't beefed up.
