73' Chrysler Imperial 2 door (rare) 440ci wedge,727 trans,81/2" rear.All new brakes front to back including: master cylinder,power booster,brake lines/hoses,calipers,roters,rear wheel cylinders,-this car has power disc brakes & electronic ignition-factory-new windshield & carpet. The interior is original,no cracks on the dash,the radio lights up but has no antenea,the steering wheel has 2 cracks in it,minimal wear on the outside of the drivers seat,& the 'grab-straps' are broken 'typical' on the doors-should be the same as the 4 door IMPS which are everywhere,the head linner is perfect exept for 1 small dime size hole.Over all the interior is in very good original condition. The 440 has new oil/filter,sparkplugs,K&N air filter element.Is all original under the hood exept new chrome moroso valve covers...the originals were cracked & leaked.The 727 trans is original with bright red oil & shifts smooth.The 81/2" is original with no noise & minimal back lash. The paint is newer acrilic lacquer buy the previous owner & it had a black vinyl roof whick has since been painted......over all the body is very strait......not a 20 footer......more like a 5 footer! Under the car is rust free but the drivers rocker has a 11/2" rust hole at the front not visible from underneath.The trunk is rust free exept for some light surface rust under the carpet.....it hasn't been painted,,nothing to hide! The car is inspected though it could use an exaust pipe.Register this car as a 'classic' and forget the inspections!!! On Oct-07-10 at 15:42:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction,this car has a 8 3/4" rear...inspection is good till January...and is one of only 2,563 2 doors built in 73' vursus 14,166 4 doors with a factory base price of $7,313. Also I didn't mention that the previous owner told me the engine & tranny were rebuilt...milage?...its less than the speedo! Good evidence is that the oil pressure is ~cold 60psi~hot 40psi~ 'yes the guages work' & the 440 has newer paint on it too. As it is the car is fully intact + stock and would suit a collector 'it isn't perfect but its pretty darn good' but my ideas were modifiying it to the 'HILT'......as I said time is an issue and really I think this car is to good to start 'HACKING'....but good hacking I had in mind like,, big pipes,tubbing,wheels,blower etc.............I'd be better to do this to some other car some other time.
