TOO MANY PROJECTS!!! I'm selling my 1964 Rambler Classic 660 project. This Car does NOT run. Transmission seems to nice and free. This is a car that would make a GREAT Rat Rod or could be restored to original. This car has a SIX CLYLINDER engine in it, which I don't believe is correct. I believe it is supposed to have an AMC 327 V-8. The V-8 emblems are still on the sides. The rear seat and backrest appear to have been replaced and are in very good condition. The driver's seat is in poor condition. The Passenger's seat has had the seat cushion replaced. The doors close very nice and tight. all of the glass is in great condition. All of the windows roll down nicely. There is considerable rust in the trunk floor. The main cabin floor is pretty solid with the exception of a large hole in front of the emergency brake pedal. I believe that the seal around the windshield had been cracked and water had leaked in doing some of the damage to the glove box. That seal has been patched so it doesn't leak anymore. There is some rust on the rear quarters as shown in photos. I ground the paint down to the bare metal on the deck lid, roof, and hood to get rid of flaking paint and surface rust and primed it with rattle can primer. There appears to be no body filler in car with the exception of a small amount on the rear below the deck lid. THIS WOULD BE A FUN CAR TO DROP A V-8 IN, LOWER IT AND PAINT IT FLAT BLACK & PINSTRIPE IT!!! (that was my plan) It is a very straight car that could be restored as well.
