Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for auction is a 1956 Plymouth Suburban with some great patina. It’s a midwest car (as seen with the Topeka dealer emblem on the tailgate). The car is mechanically sound with new shoes, master cylinder, and new silicone brake fluid. The 2 speed Powerflite transmission has been serviced and the 270 Poly engine runs great. The 2 barrel carburetor has been rebuilt also. The car has logged about 2,000 miles since the work and gets 15+ mpg on the highway cruising at 70. The car has been lowered about 3” all around by cutting a coil in the front and using a block in the rear. The shocks were replaced during this work. It runs new Wheel Vintique wheels all around with 15x5’s in the front and 15x7’s in the rear. ’40 Ford center caps and smooth trim rings are on the wheels. Coker Classic radials are all around with a 195/75R15 in the front and a 235/75R15 in the rear. All of the interior controls work (ie heater, turn signals, gauges). The car also has new black carpet. The front seat is worn and covered by the saddle blanket but the back seat is in good conidition. It folds down and provides addition cargo space. All of the latches, window regulators, and vent windows work well. The stainless trim on the car is in good shape, and the chrome on the bumpers and grille is in fair shape. Included in the auction are extra trim, taillights, parking lights, as well as several other misc extra parts. The frame and floors are solid on this car. The only rust through is in the rockers and bottoms of the front fenders. The headlight eyebrows have been repaired at one time by mudding them in.I have a complete '56 Belvedere 4 door sedan parts car that can go with the wagon as well. Email any questions to ctaulbert@hotmail.com or call Cory @ 816-560-1141. Local bidders are welcome to come see the car.The reserve is lowered.
