I am selling my 1985 IROC, Car has a straight body, no dents accept on both passenger doors. All other pannels are good. There are pictures of both doors. They are not big, they are door dings from the a parking lot. The car is RUST FREE, frame, floorboards, and all pannels have no rust that i can see. This is a colorado car, and has been for a long time, i know the previous owner. we get slim to no moisture so its preetty hard to have a rust bucket here. The paint is fading and clear coat is chipping away. All the glass in this car is good accept the front windshield. it is cracked. T-Tops are in fine working order. It does leak water from the T-Tops but not bad. If it is raining it drips. but if you put it through a pressure wash, it leaks pretty good. both tops leak at the same spot, right where the outside of the top meets the windshield and at the back side. not in the middle. Dash is cracked and the pannels are falling down underneath by firewall. I have owned this car sense 2003 and was my daily driver in the same shape it is now for 5 years. Sense, the car has sat. I still drive it once a week as my daily driver for a day to keep it from just sitting for extended time. Motor runs strong, it does leak oil, i believe its a rear main seal but i have not had it looked at. could be from the oil pan gasket, im not sure. But either way, it still gets up and goes preetty good! Transmission works, but needs help. Sometimes it will stick and take a little extra time to shift. But i have never had it not shift gears or drop down into a passing gear when i needed. It also has a knock to it. Not the motor, but the transmission.(if you have questions about this i can explain in better detail, just ask me) Car has edlebrock carb, valve covers and intake. It is not the origonal TPI 350 that came stock with the IROC. It is just a carbourated 350. NOT FUEL INJECTION. This is not the origonal motor, which is why i left mileage blank. Because i truely do not know the cars true mileage. Prepare to trailer this car upon pick up if you purchase it, i would not reccomend trying to drive this car an extended distance. It has never broke down on me and i have traveled up to 400 miles in 1 day in this car myself. BUT, the car likes to vaporlock when it gets too hot. I usually do not have this problem in the winter months. All Electrical works, lights signals etc. The windows do not roll down very quickly and the striping between the glass at the top of the door where you would rest your arm when driving is missing (again if you are confused, please ask, i can always send extra pictures). The doors do not completley unlock on the first push, usually have hit it a couple times. But i just dont use them. The electronic trunk popper works fine. Heater works but only blows out of the defrost position. A/C does not work. It does not even have the A/C compressor. I removed it, because it didnt work. The gas shocks for the trunk and hood are bad. Overall this car could be a daily driver but is more a project car and i have no more space for it and i am just waisting money to insure and keep it registered to drive it once a week only because i dont want it to sit too long. I have tried to be as honest and up front as i can, for i do not want to decieve anyone. This is also why, i did not wash the car before i took pictures so you cold see the car and motor look on a day to day basis. Any questions. Please feel free to ask. Thanks.
