For private bidding is a beautifully kept example of a 2002 BMW R1150RT (SN# WB10499A22ZE86037) in classic "Metallic Silver". The bike is fully equipped with only 12,247 miles. Owned by a BMW Boxer enthusiast, the RT has been maintained under the most scrupulous standards, having just received it's 12k service at BMW of Atlanta (www.bmwmcoa.com). The 12k service included: -New spark plugs -Air filter -Valve adjustment -Carb balance -ABS brake service -Fuel quick disconnect replacement -Chassis lubrication -Multi-point inspection/test ride During the recent in-depth service, the technician discovered a leak in the final drive seals, and recommended that they be replaced. As an added assurance/precaution, we had the shop replace the entire final drive assembly to include the driveshaft, with brand new BMW replacement parts at a cost of ~$3k. While the bike was under the knife for the final drive, the opportunity was taken to freshen her up with a new clutch plate, pressure plate, and clutch housing gear. The bike comes equipped with a relatively new (~500 mile) set of Metzler Marathon ME880's, and a brand new OEM battery. The bike hasn't run this smooth since it left the showroom floor. All books, and records are included in the purchase; you simply will be hard pressed to find one that is in better mechanical condition. Cosmetically, the 1150RT has a beautiful paint finish, maintained regularly with Meguiar and Plexus products. Throughout the bike's life, it's been tipped over twice- both of which a supported drop. The only damage sustained was light surface scratching on the left mirror, which was replaced two weeks ago with a brand new OEM BMW mirror. The bike has never been in a collision, nor has it received structural damage of any kind. Although not perfect, the bike's overall cosmetic condition is a 9 out of 10.
