1999 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT WAGON 1.8L TURBO ENGINE 89,000 MILES ON THE ENGINE 139,000 MILES ON BODY SILVER AUTOMATIC For sale is a 1999 Volkswagen Passat GLS Wagon. Car has 139k miles on body, but engine was just replaced with 89,000 miles. Engine failed due to bad oil pump, which also caused a turbocharger failure. We replaced the engine with a used motor with 89k miles and BRAND NEW turbocharger. We have over $6000 in this car, so our big loss is your gain. Car is in overal very good condition, it runs very smooth and quiet. Very good tires, like new! AC is very cold. Brakes work very good, REBUILT ABS CONTROL UNIT. Body looks very good, no rust, no signs of accidents. There is a small dent on the rear passenger door and crack on the very bottom of windshield (not in a field of view).
