For sale: 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 2 wheel drive, 4 door. This Cherokee has just over 120,000 miles but runs like it only has 20,000. It has been adult owned and well maintained. Mechanically there is nothing serious wrong with it. It has tinted windows and a trailer hitch. The AC blows super cold and the heater is very hot. The power window motor and regulator for the front driver's door is bad but the parts are on order from the dealership and will be replaced before the new owner picks it up ($450.00). The battery was replaced 30 days ago. The front passenger power window works fine but only with the switch on the driver's door. Just a loose wire I think because it works every now and then. The rear power windows and the power locks work just fine with no issues. Overall the paint isn't bad. On the top the clear coat has flaked off in several places and the paint has slightly faded. No dents or rust anywhere. There is a full size spare in the back. This Jeep went through a full tune up less than 10,000 miles ago and runs like a champ. The headliner was replaced about a year ago. The cloth seats are near perfect but they do have a few minor blemishes here and there. No major rips or tears though. The carpet isn't overly worn but does have some minor stains in the cargo area. The tires aren't new but have probably 60%+ tread left and will not need to be replaced any time very soon. I was a mechanic for some time and can think of no reason to recommend against driving this Jeep across the country. Fly in and drive it home.
