This bike is in excellent physical condition. Never laid down or involved in even a minor collision. There is one small ding on the rear rim which was done buy the BMW dealership when they changed the tires...At least that is the only thing I can think of as I have never even had a scrape on this bike. Mechanically it is flawless with all gauges and mechanisms functioning as they should.I am the original owner and have always been pretty prudent as a rider. Top speed I ever took it to was 120 MPH at about 7500 RPM(Redline is 12000). I cannot describe the raw acceleration that the powerplant can develop. But I will say it is addicting...use it with caution. I think the specs on this machine says it develops around 163 HP and can reach 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds. It is not a bike for a first time rider. When I purchased this bike from Daytona BMW it was one of the most powerful bikes on the market. So...that is the sport part of it. As a tourer it is comfortable and mannerly at normal speeds. It gets about 45 MPG even if you enjoy romping on the gas as I did. It does still have 30 days under warranty as of 1OCT10which isn;t much time, but I assure you it is mechanically sound. You are welcome to test drive it on pick up and if for any reason you don't feel comfortable I will refund your deposit. I would like 100.00 US from the winning bidder with the balance in cash on pick up. If you love precision engineering and speed...you will love this bike.
